A MOVEMENT LED BY MEDIA INFLUENCERS AND ADVOCATES

This transformative event is organized by the Umalohokan team, led by Ross Flores Del Rosario, founder of Wazzup Pilipinas and External Vice President of the Green Party of the Philippines, and a dynamic force in the digital and advocacy space. This is in partnership with Umalohokan co-founder David D'Angelo, Chairman of the Green Party of the Philippines. With their leadership, the event gathers fact-checkers, election watchdogs, environmental advocates, and youth leaders together with social media personalities (vloggers, bloggers, content creators, influencers, and other active voices in the social media landscape), uniting their platforms to amplify the call for responsible citizenship.

Set to take place on April 13, 2025 (Sunday), from 2 PM onwards at Simbayanan ni Maria Community Foundation, 115 MLQ Street, Purok 2, New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, this movement revives the spirit of the Umalohokan—the heralds of pre-colonial Philippines who spread truth and critical information to communities. Today, the digital age needs modern-day heralds to combat disinformation, encourage voter participation, and drive sustainable action.
