PLDT Inc. (PLDT) and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc (Smart) have unveiled their first-ever Experience Hub with Smart Home in the country at Festival Mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The first of its kind, the PLDT, and Smart Experience Hub has an interactive Smart Home setup that allows customers to reimagine a future-ready home for their families.
“We understand how the power of technology and digital services can impact Filipinos’ standard of living, with smart home innovations bridging convenience, comfort, productivity, and security to improve the overall quality of life. We want to enable customers of our flagship PLDT and Smart Experience Hub to make better decisions with the tools and the connectivity that they need to enhance their digital lifestyle at home,” PLDT and Smart President and CEO Alfredo S. Panlilio shared during the E-Hub grand opening event.

Also present at the inauguration are Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon, Vice Mayor Artemio Simundac, Deputy Head of Consumer Sales John Palanca, Head of Consumer Business – Individual Francis Flores, Head of Customer Experience Jeanine Rubin, FVP and Head of Customer Development Strategies and Support Rebecca De Guzman, VP and Head of Retail Operations and Transformation Eden Techico, other PLDT and Smart executives, partners, Festival Mall administrators, and other special guests.
The PLDT and Smart E-Hub at Festival Mall houses a wide array of intelligent devices and appliances powered seamlessly by PLDT Home Fiber, recognized by global benchmarking company Ookla as the undisputed fastest home broadband in the Philippines for five consecutive years.
As of end-2022, PLDT's fiber infrastructure reached approximately 1.1 million kilometers, consisting of over 231,000 kilometers of international fiber and around 866,000 kilometers of domestic fiber. This infrastructure also supports Smart's mobile network, which covers 97% of the population with 3G, LTE, and 5G.
These initiatives are aligned with the PLDT Group’s endeavors to provide connectivity to all and support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
