Globe calls on its customers to play a part in the fight against Covid and lend their support to frontliners by donating their Globe Rewards points to the PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. (PGH-MFI), as hospitals and other medical facilities report full capacity status due to the alarming surge of Covid cases in the country.
With one peso equivalent to one Rewards point, Globe will be turning over 100 percent of the funds collected which, in turn, will be used to provide much-needed support for our healthcare frontliners.
“Our medical system is in need of assistance and Globe is doing its part to support the true heroes of this pandemic and since we started this at the onset of the pandemic, we are extremely humbled to receive an overwhelming amount of support from our customers by donating their Globe Rewards points to this very important cause,” said Joey Kilayko, Head of Globe Rewards.
Globe subscribers can donate to PGH-MFI, Inc. by downloading and logging on to their Globe Rewards app. They can find the organization as well as other causes under “DONATE” on the “All Rewards” section on the app’s home page.
“Despite the physical limitations as Metro Manila and other areas face another week in lockdowns, we hope that this program ignites the bayanihan spirit as we go through this pandemic together,” Kilayko added.
The telco giant’s Donate campaign via Globe Rewards aims to support different organizations that align with Globe’s purpose to achieve a Globe of Good.
