MANILA, Philippines — The Battle Arena now has its first crowned champion. The latest online Dota 2 tournament featured four of the best up-and-coming Dota 2 teams in the Philippines in an all-out fight for the championship title. All teams fought valiantly but Buriram Seth Gaming succeeded in securing the Battle Arena crown, edging out the rest of the competition.
The Battle Arena grand finals featured a single-elimination best-of-three bracket to determine the one true champion. It ultimately came down to Buriram Seth Gaming taking on Goliath in the final series of the entire tournament, a mere hour away from the coronation of the first Battle Arena champion.
MET continues to uphold its mission of bringing only the best esports events to competitors as they partner up with Facebook Gaming and Pacific Esports, to make the Battle Arena a reality. It took over four weeks to seek out only the best rising talent that the Philippines’ has to offer, but it all came to an exciting conclusion on December 22, 2018.

Buriram Seth Gaming has proven that they have the skills and attitude to take home the first ever Battle Arena crown. They close out the final MET’s final online Dota 2 tournament of 2018 with the USD 600 grand cash prize as well as the glory of being the undisputed strongest warriors of the Battle Arena.
