Fun Run for a Cause: Integrity Run 2015

Nowadays, a lot of people are connected. No single person in the world specially the "Millenials" are not connected to the internet. Each and everyone of us are all busy making friends, having a good chat and listening to the music on the cloud. But don't you think that we need to sometime disconnect from the matrix? Well, this coming December 12, all of us a being invited, called or tapped to be one of the participants in the upcoming "Run for Integrity" fun run that will be held at the CCP Complex, Pasay City.

This fun run is supported by various agencies, companies and media to promote integrity and fight corruption in our country. This integrity initiative is a multi-sectoral campaign that aims the re-establishment of acceptable integrity standards among various sectors of society such as, business, government, judiciary, academe, youth, civil society, church and media. Led by the private sector, the initiative aims to help in diminishing, if not fully eradicating, the various forms of corruption here in the Philippines.

This initiative was founded in 2009, by the Makati Business Club and the European Chamber of Commerce and was fully incorporated last year, 2014. This non-profit and non-stock organization wants to demonstrate that the mission of the Integrity Initiative is long term, and not just temporary, just to appease the people.

Dubbed as "I RUN for Integrity": I am Part of the Solution, the event calls on all sectors of society to participate in this important steps towards nation building and infusing integrity amongst Filipinos.

This run is expected to bring 5,000 representatives and runners from government, business, youth civil society academe, church and media.

Runners who wishes to participate in the event can run either in 3K, 5K and 10K categories. Registration is available at Chris' Sports branches in Glorietta 3, Mall of Asia, Market! Market! and SM Megamall until December 4. Late registration will be until December 7 or until race kits lasts. Registration fee is at 550 Php, while group of 10 participants can avail the 10 plus 1 package. Accomplished runners can bring home a finisher shirt, baller band, and tokens from event sponsors.
Special prizes also awaits the top finishers of the event.

The "I RUN for Integrity" event forms part of the year's Integrity Nation Now campaign of the Integrity Initiative to further solidify their goal in instilling integrity and combating corruption in the country.
