The BlackBerry Developers are now receiving emails coming from BlackBerry, stating that they need to convert or make most of their applications in the BlackBerry World to be available for the upcoming flagship handset of BlackBerry, the BlackBerry Classic.
As we all know that the BlackBerry Classic launch is just around the corner, most of the applications created for the BlackBerry Q10 and the Q5 is needed to be compatible for the new device.
We are equally delighted to say that the BlackBerry Classic and the Passport will soon hit the Philippine shores, and for sure the mobile market here in the Philippines will anticipate a great comeback specially coming from a legendary brand.
"The much anticipated BlackBerry Classic will soon join the smartphone product line as BlackBerry's latest QWERTY device. The new design heralds the return of the classic trackpad and hard buttons, features cherished by BlackBerry QWERTY loyalists. It also offers a gleaming touchscreen display, 720 x 720 screen resolution, 1:1 aspect ratio and supports BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.1 "
"As the release of the BlackBerry Classic approaches, we want to ensure that your apps will be part of the new product launch. To test your existing apps for BlackBerry Classic support, download the BlackBerry 10 Native Beta SDK, 10.3.1 simulator and required development tools. Consult "The Return of the Classic" blog for an overview of some SDK features and interactions to help you support the BlackBerry Classic. The great news for you is that most apps that support the BlackBerry Q10 will also function seamlessly on the new smartphone."
